The Modern Physics Project
For the modern physics project, I had to chose a modern physics topic to research and present on. I had to read and annotate 7 articles on my topic, create an ironic cartoon and then give a presentation on all of my findings in the form of any multi media. After a little bit of research, I decided I wanted to study the fate of the universe. I found, read and annotated 7 articles based on my topic and wrote brief summaries on each one. Through my research, I learned about the main theories on how the universe will end which are the "Big Crunch", "Big Freeze", "Big Rip" and the theory that the universe never will end. After doing all of this research, I had my annotations and summaries critiqued and I revised them. Once I had all of my information, I started to prepare my presentation. At first, I wanted to make a video, but it didn't work out, so I just went with a slideshow presentation. For the cartoon, I first made a rough draft, got it critiqued, and repeated the process a couple of times until I created the final product. It was pretty simple as far as actually creating the cartoon, but coming up with the funny factor of it was a bit harder.
